Trauma-informed attachment therapist integrating body-based healing with evidence-based clinical care.
I’m an attachment therapist in Colorado. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC #0021389), supervised by Shannon Heers, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC #4786), specializing in trauma-informed attachment therapy with somatic integration.
My work helps adults and couples understand how early relationships and life experiences, including trauma, shape present-day patterns. Whether you’re navigating relationship difficulties, healing from attachment injuries, working through anxiety, or seeking couples therapy, I integrate attachment theory, trauma-informed approaches, and body-based healing to address root patterns, not just symptoms.
I understand this work both professionally, and personally I’ve been in therapy myself since age 17, experiencing firsthand how healing happens through compassionate expertise, emotional precision, and safe therapeutic relationships. This lived experience informs every session I offer.
I specialize in helping clients understand how early relationships create internal working models that influence adult behavior, and how trauma further shapes those patterns. Through DMM (Dynamic-Maturational Model) Adult Attachment Interview certification, I assess attachment styles and develop targeted treatment plans based on your unique patterns.
Trauma-informed attachment therapy integrates:
These approaches are integrated flexibly based on your goals, preferences, and what emerges in our work together. You’re not fit into a one-size-fits-all model, therapy is tailored to your unique journey.
Healing doesn’t happen only through conversation. Many attachment patterns and trauma responses are held in the body, nervous system dysregulation, chronic tension, emotional numbing, and fight/flight/freeze responses stored in muscle memory.
When clinically appropriate, I integrate somatic, body-based techniques to deepen healing:
My 10,000 hours of meditation practice, including 320 days of silent retreat, inform a contemplative therapeutic presence. I’m a Unified Mindfulness Level-2 Coach and Certified Realization Process Teacher, bringing depth to somatic integration while maintaining clinical boundaries.
Somatic techniques are offered when appropriate for your goals, never prescribed or required. Meditation and mindfulness are optional tools, never spiritual requirements.
I work with adults (18+) and couples experiencing:
My clients are often high-achieving, self-reflective individuals seeking more than symptom management. They’re curious about themselves, willing to explore root patterns, and ready for meaningful change.
I provide individual therapy and couples therapy that is LGBTQ+-affirming, culturally responsive, neurodivergent-friendly therapy that honors your full identity.
I’ve been in therapy myself since age 17, navigating my own attachment patterns, anxiety, relationship challenges, and personal growth. This lived experience taught me what helps and what doesn’t-and it’s why I approach therapy with both clinical rigor and authentic compassion.
My path included extensive personal healing work before entering graduate training. I know what it’s like to feel stuck in patterns, to struggle with anxiety despite doing everything “right,” and to wonder if change is actually possible. I also know that healing is possible-through safe therapeutic relationships, evidence-based methods, and compassionate exploration.
This personal foundation combined with clinical training allows me to meet you with genuine understanding. I’m not offering theory from a distance-I’m offering skills, insights, and presence informed by both professional expertise and personal transformation.
Beyond clinical work, I’ve devoted years to meditation practice-not as spiritual bypassing, but as a discipline of emotional precision, body awareness, and presence. This contemplative depth enriches my therapeutic work without imposing spiritual beliefs.

Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, I provide superbills (detailed receipts) you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Many insurance plans reimburse 50-80% of out-of-network therapy costs. I recommend contacting your insurance to verify your out-of-network mental health benefits before beginning therapy.
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your situation, answer questions, and see if trauma-informed attachment therapy is right for you. There’s no pressure or obligation, just an opportunity to explore whether we’re a good fit.
Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage. I’m here to support you with compassion, expertise, and respect for your unique journey.
